Search tips

Searching Aardvark is easy. You can use Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT
etc) and truncation (shortening a word to get all words using the same
sequence of letters) or both together.
|
Here's how to
search. |
Operator
| Sample
Use
| Find
articles containing ...
|
AND | internet
AND
programming | internet and
programming in the
same article. |
OR | internet
OR
programming | internet or
programming, or both, anywhere in the
entire article. |
NOT | internet
NOT
programming | internet but not
programming in the
same article. |
? | int??
net | matches
internet, intranet... |
* | inter*
| matches inter,
internet, international... |
|
|
Note : |
1. | internet programming
(internet<space>programming) is the same as internet
AND
programming. |
2. | You can combine
Boolean operators and truncation. For example, Thailand
AND librarian*
AND Employ*
will find records about a) Employing
librarians in Thailand; b) A librarian wanting employment in
Thailand, etc etc. |
